Postdoctoral Research Associate (structural Biology Of Membrane Proteins, Nmr/co

Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately in Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics. The research projects involve structural and dynamical studies of proteins involved in signal transduction at the membrane surface (Protein Kinase C) and membrane fusion (Synaptotagmin 1), and their interactions with membranes. Both projects make use of advanced NMR methods, X-ray crystallography, fluorescence spectroscopy, computational methods, and biochemical techniques. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or a related field. Candidates with experience in molecular dynamics simulations of protein-membrane systems and advanced biomolecular NMR spectroscopy are especially encouraged to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience.
