The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the board results of Class 12 on 21st May 2016 (Saturday). Last year the results of CBSE Class 12 were announced on 25 May while CBSE Class 10 results declared on 28 May.
To check the board results, the students should visit the official website i.e., http://cbseresults.nic.in/. Click on the appropriate link and enter the roll number.
By submitting the same, the results will get displayed on the screen. Students can also take out the print out of their result for future reference.
Last year in 2015, the total number of students who applied for class 10 exam was 13,73,853 out of which 81,79,41 were boys, and 55,59,12 were girls. And, this year total 14,99,122 students have applied out of which 89,26,85 are boys and 60,64,37 are girls.
And for class 12 exam in 2015, the total number was 10,40368 out of which 607,38,3 were boys, and 44,66,41 were girls. But this year, a total number of 14,99,122 students have applied for the board exams out of which 6,21,259 are boys and 44,66,41 are girls.
